Who we are
The idea for Lorelux® brand was conceived in the heart of the Ionian territory by a team of professionals in the public lighting sector, willing to find a solution to a problem that most of the Italian cities breathe every day.
We are people who have grown by the sea, and we are used to its saltiness and to its sudden winds. The same cannot be said of urban lighting luminaires. They are constantly corroded by salt fog, and they often stand out rusty against avenues with suggestive panoramas.
We felt that this sight was a real contradiction, so we started looking for a solution, identified in Lorelux innovative material.
Listening to the customers and to the market’s needs is our key word. The market is more and more looking for Made in Italy and customized products, in a perspective that seeks a less mass and more tailoring production.
With Lorelux we have eliminated the boundaries between design and resistance. Functionality does not give way to beauty, but forms with it a timeless whole.
Lorelux is the result of Niteko R&S Department, a company that works in the public lighting sector since 2011 and produces LED lighting fixtures for outdoor and large areas, guaranteeing high quality and certified products.
Its founders, and Lorelux creators, have decades of experience. In 2007 they were pioneers in proposing the first street lighting prototypes with LED power technology during the IEEE international conference in Hammamet, Tunisia, – from which derives the scientific article “Led-based Public Lighting System Reliability for a Reduced Impact on Environment and Energy Consumption”.
