The sustainability of Lorelux luminaires was awarded with the Silver MUSE Design Awards 2023 in the Lighting Category!
The MUSE Design Awards is a famous American competition that awards the best innovative and creative designs in different industries. Hosted by the International Awards Associate (IAA), the competitions had received over 6,300 entries from across the globe, proving themselves to be leading award programs that honor creative and design professionals with highly-respected professional jurors identifying companies or individuals whose works showcase excellence and push their respective industries forward.
In this 2023’s first competitive season, the sustainability of Lorelux brand was awarded with the Silver MUSE Design Award in the Lighting Category with the Vieste circular luminaire. In fact, Vieste won the Sustainable Lighting sub-category thanks to its multicoloured design made from household shredded plastic waste, that is, bottle caps. This makes it a real sustainable and circular luminaire in every aspect, since it comes from recycled materials and it can be further recycled at the end of its service life. A common feature to all Lorelux luminaires!
“We are very proud that our project gained the attention of the MUSE Design Awards and won such a prestigious award. It is a great honor for us to have been chosen among more than 6,300 candidates coming from 15 different countries” says Alessandro Deodati, co-founder and Head of the R&D Department “We have always cared about sustainability and Lorelux brand is the result of our researches aiming at developing both green and functional materials in urban lighting, for a long-lasting present and a waste-free future”.
